We very much look forward to welcoming cellists whenever regulations allow. Here are our plans to help us all to stay safe and well. If you prefer not to enter the house and you just need to deliver your cello for work, please lie the cello case down in the porch and ring the doorbell. We can then talk at a safe distance. If you need to work on your cello with us and you’re happy to come into the building, we will invite you to wear a face mask and to wash your hands on arrival. We will also wear face masks during your visit and will also wash our hands on your arrival. The music room will be ventilated while you are with us, and we will maintain as much distance as possible during your visit, although if Robin is adjusting your instrument, it may not be possible to maintain a 2-metre distance consistently, hence the importance of using masks. Doorknobs and surfaces will be cleaned before and after your visit, as will the downstairs toilet which you are welcome to use.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call us on 01353 668559, 07771 952993 or email
We’re continuing our free solidarity service for professional cellists until April 2021. So if your cello needs some sound adjustment or you think there’s a seam open somewhere, please phone or email us and we’ll make an appointment for you to visit. The first free appointments will be available in the week beginning 7 December. Hope to see you soon!
