This delightful cello is in excellent condition and represents the very best of the English school of making.  Made from exquisite wood, the cello is beautifully arched and has a mature, golden tone which projects extremely well.

This striking instrument is in very good condition and until recently was the main instrument of an established professional player.  The tone is deep, smooth and clear.

A fine example of the work of the last generation of the Forster family with characteristically rich red-brown oil varnish and a rich and satisfying tone.  Inscribed

Unusually for Wamsley, this exciting cello shows a Stradivarian influence in the arching and it has a correspondingly rich and powerful tone.  The varnish is red brown over a golden ground.

A  close copy of a Milan period cello by GB Guadagnini circa 1755 with an exceptionally quick response and colourful tone.  Slightly enlarged from the original model (back length 711mm) this cello has a more standard back length of 737mm.  Antiqued transparent orange-brown varnish over a golden ground.

This cello follows the iconic model by Domenico Montagnana circa 1740.   It has deep red brown varnish and an expansive tonal response with a focussed brilliance in the top end
and a rich bass.

This cello has a rich, powerful and well projected sound, and  is an excellent example of the finest grade of instrument produced by the J Thibouville Lamy workshop.  Until recently it has been the first instrument of a successful young professional player.
